Apologies for there not being a full report for this game.
However, by all accounts it was quite an eventful game. Yardley were still missing their injured skipper Alex, and with leading goal scorer, Jeevan unavailable this week, it was always going to be tough going against the league’s early pacesetters. Droitwich built up a seemingly commanding 3-0 lead by half time.
However, a spirited come-back by Yardley in the second half, saw Noor put away two goals to greatly reduce the arrears and almost snatch a point.
This week, Yardley entertain West Bromwich 2nds.
