Eight minutes into a local derby-like encounter, West Brom got the better of the home defence to take an early took lead. In a somewhat feisty contest, both teams were called up by umpires for appealing, which no doubt set the home team off course. Allowing heads to talk and not sticks or performances on the pitch, the visitors gifted West Brom with a second goal before the break.
Half time and the team talk, very different to previous week’s (if only!). Early into the second half, Ash was given a green card. Down to 10 men, Alex found Jeevan with an aerial who played Noor in on goal, 1 v 1, who just could not find the target. West Brom were soon down to 9 players with two seeing Yellow. Despite several openings the hosts were unable to capitalise or claw back a goal in hope of a point.
