"Thank you to Jeevan and City of Birmingham Hockey Club Men's and Juniors who attended our HAF summer camp and offered over 25 plus kids in a hard to reach area of Birmingham the chance to play and experience hockey for the first time, it was enjoyed by all. This club truly appreciates and recognises the value in supporting the community, never forgetting its roots."
"The Community Games would really like to thank Jeevan, who along with City of Birmingham Hockey Club Men's and Juniors, his family and friends, have become a very popular activity provider indeed at many of our events throughout the city. They are always keen to engage with visitors, to encourage and promote activity, and also signpost people to the clubs nearest to where they live, whilst all the time having fun. Jeevan Chagger made a great contribution to the EuroHockey Executive Leadership Forum, being able to portray his lived experiences within hockey, and how he has developed an inclusive club culture that does so much to support the community. This allowed delegates from across Europe to see and hear about the best practices club hockey should and can portray. The Club also received EH Small Club of the Year 2021 for their great work.
